Women migrants focus of policy forum in Quito
The fact that women migrants travel from the South to the North to work in the care sector puts a spotlight on serious deficiencies found in the social organization of care. Migration, gender and care was one of the issues during the III Hemispheric Event on Migratory Policies that was held in Quito, Ecuador, from 17 to 19 September 2009.
