What did the CoP respond to Asif's question?

Here are two good examples of resources for training on Gender and Development issues. However, there are a lot of other materials available. Please, check out our Gender Training Wiki for information on other resources on these and other topics.

A good resource for Training in Gender and Development is the OXFAM Gender Training Manual. Although it has been around for some time, gender trainers around the world still recommend it. For more information on it, please check out our Gender Training Wiki.

The Gender, Society & Development book series represent a more recent resource. The Gender, Society & Development (GSD) series aim to contribute to the exchange, sharing and dissemination of information on women's and gender issues in developing countries. The annual books are a joint activity of KIT ILS, KIT Development, Policy and Practice and published by KIT Publishers in association with Oxfam UK , and, on occasion, with IIAV and CTA as co-publishers. Gender Rights and Development is the most recent book in the series, published in 2008 and edited by Maitrayee Mukhopadhyay and Shamim Meer. For more information, also visit our Gender Training Wiki.
