Con el propósito de intercambiar conocimiento, reflexionar sobre la situación de las mujeres en los gobiernos locales y proponer acciones concretas para el empoderamiento de las mujeres municipalistas, el UN-INSTRAW y la Cooperación Regional PROCASUR organizaron una “ruta de aprendizaje” en Costa Rica y El Salvador del 7 al 14 de agosto, en la cual participan 15 mujeres alcaldesas, concejalas y representantes de los mecanismos de género de ambos países.
