Secretary-General spearheads campaign for the elimination of violence against women

21 November, 2007 In his Statement for November 25th, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced the launch of a multi-year campaign for the elimination of violence against women.
