This one-day conference is organized by the Bureau for Global Health of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the FRONTIERS Program of the Population Council, and will be held on 6 February 2008, marking the 5th anniversary of the Call for Action to end Female Genital Cutting.

The conference, which will be held at the Holeman Lounge,in Washington D.C., will present findings from a decade of USAID-funded studies on evaluating approaches to encourage the abandonment of FGM/C carried out by the Population Council's FRONTIERS Program.
