Women in Leadership Roles |

The United Nations Division for the Advancement of Women, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in its capacity as Task Manager of WomenWatch, with support from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, is organizing the Online Discussion “Women in Leadership Roles” from 19 November to 15 December 2007.
Amongst the objectives of this discussion are the exchange of data and information and the promotion of good practices on women in decision-making positions in non-political spheres, as well as contribution to the global debate on new policy recommendations on the roles and impact of women in decision-making positions, including in public administration, the judiciary, the private sector, academia, media and civil society.
