For me, a community of practice offers a space to get clarity on these issues, offers a move towards standardization of basic principles, guidelines and requirements and can be a supportive place to get assistance or find like-minded practitioners when one needs to get something in place. It can also act as...a space for passing on knowledge, information and best practice to the next generation.

This gallery contains a collection of photographs submitted by members of UN-INSTRAW's Gender Training Community of Practice. These photographs document various gender training initiatives around the globe, in which CoP members have been involved.
One of the primary functions of the CoP is to act as a platform for networking and forging supportive alliances within the gender training community.
In lieu of face-to-face meetings, this gallery can aid in sharing more personal testimonies of work taking place on the ground. |
