Beth Woroniuk has been working on issues related to gender equality and women's rights for over twenty years. In recent years, her focus has been on issues relating to peace and security. She has a long time interest in organizational change and how training/capacity building fits into these dynamics. She has struggled with questions relating to influencing policy and practice from inside and outside organizations. Most of her work has been with bilateral aid organizations (such as CIDA and SIDA), UN organizations and Canadian development NGOs. Beth currently works as an independent consultant based in Ottawa, Canada. She studied political science and economics but now finds inspiration in an eclectic mix of reports and books. |
