Women, Ink, a program of the International Women’s Tribune Centre (WTC) that distributes resources to raise awareness on women, gender and development, announces its resource pack entitled “HIV/AIDS and Women: Resources to Support Policy and Advocacy.”
This free resource pack, comprising some 50 action-oriented tools as well as analyses, reports and case studies, addresses the increasing vulnerability of women and girls to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the critical need to promote a gender-based approach to prevention and care.
Other important objectives include the protection of young women and girls; guaranteeing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women; supporting leadership among women living with HIV/AIDS; eliminating violence against women and ensuring women’s economic rights.
