The organizers of the international conference: “A World in Transition. Feminist Perspectives on International Relations” (May, 1996 at Lund University, Sweden), have issued a Call for Papers for the international conference: “The War Question for Feminism,” which is being organized by the new Institute of Thematic Gender Studies at Linköping University and Örebro University in Sweden.
The main themes of this conference are: 1) War as a Feminist Issue; 2) Militarism and Masculinities; 3) Feminist concepts travelling into the area of security, the military, violent conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
