Ms Eva-Britt Svensson, from the GUE/NGL-Group (Gauche Unitaire Européenne/Nordic Green Left), Vice Chair of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and Member of the European Parliament (MEP), in co-operation with Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW), invites you to a conference on "Violence Against Women with Disabilities," to be held on 28 August 2008 in the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium.
Other issues to be debated during the meeting include the vulnerability of women with disabilities, men with disabilities and prostitution including sexual assistance or servitude, trafficking and violence. The deadline for the submission of applications is 15 August 2008.
