 Extending social protection to migrant workers and their families Turin, Italy Training Course This course is organized in close cooperation with the MIGSEC project. This project is implemented by the ILO Regional Office for Africa, in collaboration with the ILO International Migration Programme and the Social Security Department in Geneva, with the financial support of the Federal Republic of Germany. The training course on "Extending social protection to migrant workers and their families" will consolidate knowledge on social security and labour migration and will build the institutional capacities of the ministries and agencies responsible for social security to plan and implement specific measures to extend the social protection of migrant workers and their families.
Participation: Government officials, social partners, community based-organizations, associations of migrants and NGOs dealing with migration issues and the extension of social protection. |
