Description

This group has been created after the Fourth Virtual Dialogue on "Gender Training in Humanitarian Aid" in order to continue sharing experiences, good practices and new ideas for Gender Trainings.

The aim of this working group is bringing together the experts of this area from all over the world to share their experience and knowledge. Next to the possibility to discuss and interchange with other trainers and researchers, UN-INSTRAW and OXFAM are working on a project about “Participatory Development of Resources for Gender Training in Humanitarian Assistance”. The main objective of the project is to develop with the help of this group tools and resources for Gender Trainers in Capacity Development Processes in Humanitarian Assistance and to improve the process of turning learning into action, as well as strengthening networking between gender trainers in humanitarian work through this group.
